Soo many games in soo many nights doesn’t help...but we need points.  Can’t keep dropping them and think the playoffs are going to be a reality.

Should this stretch be where the core steps up and leads by example (minus CC)?  Are they still capable of doing so?

If we think the kids can carry us we have it backwards.

It certainly doesn’t look promising for tonight. CC out, core nowhere to be found and a Kings team that is playing very well. The only chance I feel is if the Hawks open the flood gates and take a commanding lead early on. After last night, I just can’t imagine much is left in the tank for tonight.

I agree.  The Hawks probably need to get a two-goal lead early in order to win this one.

MR, it's time for another thank you for your dedication and hard work.

thanks a heap ms. madrose.

a gutsy effort tonight is needed would be a good start. like was said, a couple early goals would do wonders. and our goalie shouldn't need skates tonight because he may need to stand on his head most of the night.

!!!!!!!    GO HAWKS    !!!!!!!

If there is any night to play the substitutes, it is tonight.

Kempny has not played in well over a week.  Osterle has barely played all season.  Kero is well rested.

The team has lost three straight, and they are all tired.

To say I was disappointed by their performance twice against the Stars is a real understatement.  I thought with the recent improvement, they could manage to eke out a couple of wins.  But, that was not to be.  However, there is not that much distance between the Hawks and the leaders in the WC.  So, a little winning streak could improve their standing immensely.

As for tonight, it will be interesting to see if the "stars" will come out with a little extra effort as their contribution may be necessary to beat a hot Kings team which manhandled the Blues in St. Louis Friday night.  Kopitar, Brown and Toffoli are having good years and Gaborik just came back and has done well.  Do the Hawks have it in them to win this game?  I have no clue, but I hope they do.  What the hell, get some revenge for 2014!

The longer this game stays scoreless, the worse the situation gets for the Hawks IMHO.   I think they need to score in this period and go up by at least one.

Just one SOG in eleven minutes of the first (usually the best period for back-to-back teams) is not a good sign.

The Blackhawks look like they're skating through mud right now. Nothing even resembling a scoring chance yet!

did Panik get demoted and Haydo promoted to the 1st line?  Panik was out with Bouma and Wingels on that shift.
