11/15 Hawks vs Rangers

Terrible defensive coverage. Forsling standing there watching and DeBrincat following the goal scorer who was unchecked right in front of the net. Don't you wish the Hawks offense could play the Hawks defense - they would score a lot more goals.

Maybe that's why the game plans look so good in practice but never work in real life.

There was a shot that seemed like it was a bit lucky on the part of the goalie.  It just occurred to me how seldom those kinds of shots have occurred.

Man advantage but the Rangers still manage to get two guys to isolate the puck carrier while the other Hawks stand around watching.

Every ranger trying to make Seabrook a victim.

They are as if someone has been scouting #7.  Nevertheless, despite a couple of minor errors, I think Seabs has been ok.  Yeah, he's still slow, but he seems to be playing his heart out and finding ways to overcome his lack of speed.

By the way, Franson has never looked worse with the Hawks to me.

Wow! JR and Milbury are letting the Hawks have it.

Have Milbury and Roenick been reading these boards?  Nothing positive to mention about anyone.

Starting to see why there wasn't much of a bidding war for his services.

Wow! JR and that guy from Boston are letting the Hawks have it.

was about the post the same. about time.

all these mental errors happening strikes me as a coaching problem. every game these last few weeks I think the same: Q is not going to last until Christmas if this continues...

I would hope someone in the Hawks organization prescouts upcoming games too. But most times, it sure doesn't look like it.

Vad, I think MIlbury, Roenick and many others agree with you.

edit: doesn't sound like McKenzie agrees though.  Sounds like he believes it is a performance issue (sounds like coaching to me) and not a personnel issue.  Well, coaching and individual commitment.

There was a nice rebound there for Saad if he would have hustled to the net  and then our top defensive line gets chaotic in our own end for a minute?
