How 'bout Secord, Savard, Larmer?

I'd say it's still the best line this franchise has had and we've had some good ones.

Loved it...might be top 6 for us right now.

And they're all in their late fifties!

That reminds me of a time when Stosh was interviewed on a local radio show about twenty some years ago.  He was asked "How many goals would you score in today's game."  He responded confidently "I'd score twenty goals in today's game."  The interviewer was beside himself thinking Stan was being overly modest so he lightly scolded Stan's modesty.  Stan stopped him and exclaimed "I'm 54 years old!"

Interesting topic...where would that line and those players be in today’s game toward the end of their careers?

Would Savy be our 2C?  Savard with Kaner?

OMG, could you imagine a young Savvie with Kaner?  Showtime!  All the time!

They'd probably need Big Al to straighten things out.

That fourth line could become, if not there already, the best fourth line in hockey.

Or the best line on this team...which is the bigger picture problem.

The key to these lines IMHO is if Line #3 could be "the shutdown line."

Could be the Hawks best line, if not already.

Who could ever conceive as recently as a couple of years ago that the perhaps the fastest team in the NHL would be the New Jersey Devils?

Nice to hear  Al Secord honored.

As for tonight's game, no more coming from behind.

The Hawks must assume the missionary position.

Boy, you got that right.  And the Devils as a franchise?  They had to be one of the more plodding, boring-to-watch Cup winners that there have been in like one million moons.

What exactly do you mean by that?  It doesn't seem good.
