  1. Panarin

Agree 100% with you. Panarin is one hell of a player, but he isn't a Franchise player like Kane and Toews were at that age. Can he demand a lot, yes. But no way he'll be hitting 6mil a year on the Blackhawks at the moment. That's why Bowman is trying to extend him now, so that they can get him at the lower cost.
  2. You Be The Gm

Maybe one, but I don't think we should focus on getting any rentals. The team has played pretty well together and I'm not sure if its worth the risk to trade away a few guys
  3. Panarin

I'm not saying he is gonna leave millions on the table, but I do think he would take a small pay cut in exchange for years
  4. You Be The Gm

Like you said, they know how to play tired. And more importantly, Coach Q knows how to coach a team that is on their limit. Because of this, I don't know if we need to make any big trades. If it ain't broke, don't fix it
  5. You Be The Gm

Exactly, he knows what he's doing. We've done it before and we have the potential to do it again!
  6. Panarin

He took less to come to the Hawks in the first place so hopefully that means he'll take less to stay
  7. You Be The Gm

It's the risk you take by having a young team, but the Hawks have proved time and time again that it wouldn't hold thing back. Obviously things are a little different this year than in years past, but I think the boys should be alright
  8. You Be The Gm

I think if you package Bickell and McNeill, you might be able to get a decent return...
  9. You Be The Gm

But is it worth sacrificing one or more of those rookies?
  10. Panarin

Even come July 1st, could still say that there is a lot still needed to be seen to get a big paycheck. At this rate, don't see him making more than 1.5mil a year so would still be a good deal. I do think you have to extend him right away and for atleast 4+ years.
  11. Stan As Gm

Glad to see him get an extension. He has set up this team to have future success and a future core of players and that is pretty irreplaceable.
  12. You Be The Gm

Agree 100%. He helped the team a lot back in 2010, but its 2016 now. And I don't feel it's really fair to talk about Versteeg's performance this year as well because he's one of the best players on the struggling Carolina team, so he should be getting the points he is. On a team like Chicago, he has no place.
  13. You Be The Gm

There is no doubt that we have a great team right now and are capable of repeating a Cup win, so I see no reason to trade for a rental player right now. Our young guys have been playing good so keep developing them and focus on the long term future of the dynasty!
  14. You Be The Gm

Honestly, I can't really argue with that lol
  15. You Be The Gm

He wasn't garbage, but was nothing special by any means. A decent depth player, but that's it. Nothing more than that. You need players that have the ability to grow and adapt. Mashinter, Dano, Teuvo, etc.
